Following the 2015 Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the conclusion of the Canadian International Turfgrass Conference and Trade Show (CITCTS), the CGSA Board of Directors announced a comprehensive plan to consult with stakeholders to determine the current value proposition and how it could be improved and built upon moving forward.
Part of this process includes a call for request for proposals to redesign the CGSA. For more information on the request for proposal, deadlines, background on the CGSA and the scope of work, please call the office for a copy.
The CGSA Strategic Plan identifies the vision, mission and key focus areas for the association to implement on behalf of the members. It sets a direction for the CGSA and establishes a set of indicators that provides the Board of Directors with a reference point for decision-making. The strategic plan is reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that it remains relevant and that progress is being made toward the CGSA vision of “being essential to golf course superintendents in Canada.
