The Ontario Government introduced new legislation on April 22,
2008, amending the Ontario Pesticide Act to limit the sale and use
of pesticides for cosmetic use in Ontario. Bill 64, in its current
form, exempts golf from the provisions outlined but there are certain
conditions related to this exemption. The CGSA and other golf
industry affiliates has been working with the Ontario governement to see
the golf exemption continued.
