CGSA Committees

The Board of Directors of CGSA is responsible for appointing members to the Association’s standing committees each year.  These committees include:

  • Environment
  • Communications, Marketing and Public Relations
  • Professional Development and Research
  • Conference and Events
  • Member Services
  • Equipment Technicians Advisory

This committee structure will provide the Board with the support that it requires to more effectively address the needs of the members.

If you are interested in serving on a committee, please advise the CGSA office in writing (click here) by February 19, 2010, noting the committee on which you would prefer to participate.  The Board of Directors will establish the committee rosters at its post conference meeting in March.  Volunteers will be notified in writing by March 30, 2010 of committee appointments.  Please note a second choice!  Although our Committees are generally at capacity your interest in assisting the CGSA will assure that you receive an appointment.  Please understand that we may not be able to accommodate your chosen preference.
